Patricia Allen Dotty
Patricia Allen Doty lives locally in State College and is a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association. She is a registered professional nurse with a BSN (The Pennsylvania State University, 1979) and a MSN (Duquesne University, 1992) in nursing. Over the past 41 years, she has been employed in multiple nursing roles related to the care of infants, children, and their families and in nursing education. Direct care roles included neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, home health, early intervention, and school health. As an educator, Ms. Doty held positions in nursing staff development and academics. She is involved with a number of committees and councils in the community and served on the Penn State Parents Council from 2017-2019. She participates in the College of Nursing Mentoring Program and has volunteered to conduct mock interviews for the College of Nursing Career Fair. Patricia is also a volunteer vaccinator for Centre Volunteers in Medicine.
